CONINCO Sponsors and Accompanies the 2026 Loa Thanh Award

In July 2026, at the Grand Hall of the headquarters of the Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment (CONINCO., JSC), the Viet Nam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations (VFCEA) chaired the Conference to deploy the organization of the 2026 Loa Thanh Award. The conference was held to disseminate the new regulations, roll out the implementation plan, and mark an important milestone with a sponsorship signing ceremony between the Organizing Committee and its accompanying enterprises.

The Conference was attended by Dr. Dang Viet Dung – President of the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations (VFCEA); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duy Hoa – Member of the Presidium, Head of the Science, Technology and Training Board of the VFCEA, and President of the Vietnam Association of Structural Engineering and Construction Technology (VASECT); together with representatives of the VFCEA leadership and of enterprises and universities that train in the construction and architecture sectors.
On CONINCO's side were Dr. Ha Minh – Member of the Executive Committee of the VFCEA, Vice President cum Secretary General of the Vietnam Association of Structural Engineering and Construction Technology (VASECT), and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CONINCO; and Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang – General Director of CONINCO.

The Loa Thanh Award – Nearly Four Decades of Nurturing Young Talent

Delivering the opening remarks, Dr. Dang Viet Dung extended his thanks to the agencies, enterprises, and universities that have persistently accompanied the Loa Thanh Award over the past 38 years. He affirmed that the award is not merely a place to honor outstanding graduation projects, but also an important springboard that helps discover and cultivate high-quality human resources and tighten the practical linkage among schools, enterprises, and state management agencies.

One of the new features of the 2026 Loa Thanh Award is the direct participation of enterprises in the role of sponsors and close companions.

Representing CONINCO, Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors – shared sincere and inspiring words. He expressed his appreciation as CONINCO officially became an accompanying partner of this year's award. At the conference, the story of CONINCO's leader conveyed a great flame of enthusiasm, as he himself was once an outstanding student who won the Second Prize (Silver Medal) of the National Outstanding Graduation Project Award in Architecture and Construction (the predecessor of the Loa Thanh Award) in 1996 while studying at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.

Throughout his subsequent journey of development — spending 10 years researching and teaching at Saitama University (Japan), authoring more than 50 internationally published scientific research works, gaining working experience in more than 60 countries, and reaping many other prestigious awards in Japan — Dr. Ha Minh has always regarded his 1996 achievement as carrying a particularly important meaning. For him, it was not merely a title, but the first mark of his career — a solid springboard that added confidence and mettle for him to venture out into the wider world. From that profound experience, Dr. Ha Minh expects that CONINCO's accompaniment of the 2026 Loa Thanh Award will continue to give wings to young talents, creating momentum for future engineers and architects to advance steadily and conquer new heights. The Chairman of CONINCO's Board of Directors also extended his best wishes, expecting the 2026 Loa Thanh Award to take place with resounding success and to spread its prestige strongly within the community.

Also at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang – General Director of CONINCO – expressed the pride of an architect in accompanying the Loa Thanh Award, while affirming CONINCO's strong commitment to joining hands in developing high-quality human resources for the construction industry.
