CONINCO successfully organizes the seminar “AI and Digital transformation in Project management and Supervision consulting”

In the lead-up to the 47th anniversary of the company’s founding (April 16, 1979 – April 16, 2026), on the morning of April 10, 2026, the Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment - CONINCO successfully organized a scientific seminar titled “AI and Digital transformation in Project management and Supervision consulting”. The event created a specialized forum for exchanging expertise on applying modern technologies in practice, helping the company optimize operational processes and continuously improve the quality of its core services.

The seminar was hosted by the Research center of Scientific, Technology and Training (T.NC) of CONINCO. Attending the event were Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Bich – Vice Chairwoman of the Board; members of the General Management Board; and leaders of various departments and units.
From partner organizations, participants included Mr. Hoang Trung Hieu – Technical Director of AWS Vietnam; representatives from Megazone Cloud Vietnam; experts and scientists from the University of Engineering and Technology – Vietnam National University, Hanoi Architectural University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology; as well as Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh – Editor-in-Chief of the Architecture and Construction Magazine. The seminar also attracted a large number of managers, engineers, and specialists currently working at CONINCO.

Digital transformation: An urgent requirement and strategic vision

In his opening speech, Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors of CONINCO – emphasized the urgent need for digital transformation. With the ever-increasing pace of design and project management, proactive digitization is no longer an option but a mandatory requirement if the company is to avoid falling behind.

Looking ahead, CONINCO remains firmly committed to making science and technology its core foundation. The company is actively pursuing comprehensive cooperation with the University of Engineering and Technology (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) and technology partners to build a robust digital ecosystem. This platform will strongly support current international cooperation projects and serve as a key driving force for CONINCO to expand its market presence into Southeast Asia, Korea, and Singapore.

Applying Technology in Practice

During the seminar, Mr. Hoang Trung Hieu – Technical Director of AWS Vietnam – affirmed the role of AI in automating repetitive tasks, optimizing daily operations, and making important contributions to CONINCO’s digital transformation process. With its strong technological infrastructure, AWS pledged to provide comprehensive support to CONINCO in both platform and human resource development.

To illustrate practical application, Megazone representatives introduced the proposal: “Research on the Application of Agentic AI in Optimizing Project Management and Supervision Consulting Processes at CONINCO”. Megazone Cloud Vietnam also presented live demos based on three real CONINCO use cases, demonstrating the feasibility of these tools.

Diverse Professional Perspectives

In addition to corporate solutions, the seminar featured five in-depth presentations from renowned scientists addressing current challenges in the industry:
• Solution for underground space classification in Hanoi City, presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Giang – Deputy Director of T.NC. 
• Integration of Finite Element Modeling (FEM), monitoring data, and AI for structural risk management, presented by Dr. Nguyen Van Hung – Head of the Transportation Construction Department, Faculty of Transportation Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology – Vietnam National University, Hanoi. 
• Real-time intelligent systems in project supervision management, presented by Dr. Dinh Tan Hung – Director of the Institute of Space and Underwater Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. 
• Explainable AI applications in detecting damage to concrete bridges, presented by the research team from the Faculty of Information Technology, Hanoi Architectural University. 
• Urban planning and management solutions after administrative mergers in Bac Ninh, presented by Dr. Ngo Duc Anh – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.

Following the presentations, the seminar continued with a Q&A and discussion session. Delegates raised practical questions about applying AI and digital transformation in daily work. Experts and speakers directly addressed these concerns, clarifying issues related to structural risk management and helping participants better visualize how to integrate technology into current consulting, management, and supervision practices.

Making science and technology the foundation for development

In his concluding remarks, Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors of CONINCO – expressed sincere gratitude to the speakers and guests for an open and highly academic exchange. He reaffirmed CONINCO’s operating philosophy: always staying closely connected with “technology” and firmly taking science as the core to create differentiated service quality and support the goal of international expansion.

To ensure the knowledge from the seminar is effectively applied, the Chairman instructed the organizing committee to compile the presentations into internal documents for circulation among all staff, gradually translating theory into practical support for project work.
