CONINCO – TJAD Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony: Ready to Mobilize Resources for New Heights

On the afternoon of April 1, 2026, at CONINCO headquarters, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Consultant and Inspection Joint Stock Company of Construction Technology and Equipment - CONINCO and Tongji Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd. (TJAD – China) took place successfully. The event is clear proof of the synergy of strengths between two leading construction consulting enterprises from the two countries, fully prepared with resources to conquer major infrastructure projects and expand into international markets.

Representing CONINCO at the ceremony were Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Bich – Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang – General Director; members of the Board of Directors; leaders of management divisions; the Director of Consulting Division 3; and Directors of Design Management Center.
Representing TJAD were Mr. Zeng Qun – Vice Chairman of the Group; Mr. Yang Xu – Deputy General Director and Senior Engineer of Architectural Design Institute I; Mr. Cao Liang – Head of Market Operations Center; Mr. Xu Hao – Chief Representative of Tongji Architectural Design Institute’s Vietnam Office; Ms. Sindy – Chairwoman of Shanghai Doanh Mach Company; and their colleagues.

Cultural Alignment – Synergy of Strengths – Reaching Global Standards 

Opening the event, Dr. Ha Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors of CONINCO – warmly welcomed the TJAD leadership delegation and expressed his strong impression with TJAD’s designs that carry the distinctive Tongji imprint. Proud of CONINCO’s solid position after nearly half a century of development, 20 years of international expansion with more than 150 global partners, and a team of over 1,500 high-quality experts, Chairman Ha Minh affirmed CONINCO’s boundless aspiration to expand international cooperation. CONINCO is ready to accompany TJAD, providing high-quality human resources and services not only in Vietnam but also reaching out to international markets such as China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

In response to CONINCO’s hospitality, Mr. Zeng Qun – Vice Chairman of TJAD Group – expressed respect and high appreciation for CONINCO’s capacity, enthusiasm, and professionalism. He proudly shared the long history of the Tongji Design Group, originating from the prestigious Tongji University. TJAD is currently one of the top 10 largest design firms in China, possessing vast experience from super-projects such as the Shanghai Tower (the tallest building in China and the second tallest in the world at 632m), Shanghai Disneyland, and large-scale transportation infrastructure projects.

He emphasized the profound cultural similarities between Vietnam and China, which will create favorable conditions for the two enterprises to easily understand, connect, and cooperate effectively. Looking to the future, as CONINCO approaches its 50th anniversary and Tongji celebrates its 70th, Mr. Zeng Qun hopes the two sides will create proud shared legacies to mark these historic milestones.

A Cooperation Proven by Speed, Quality, and Deep Understanding 

The trust between CONINCO and TJAD is not limited to commitments but has already been proven through real results. At the ceremony, General Director Nguyen Dang Quang shared a memorable experience from accompanying the Deputy Minister of Construction on a visit to Tongji University in 2025, where he clearly recognized TJAD’s solid academic foundation. In particular, through seamless coordination, the two sides created an impressive mark by completing six months’ worth of scheduled work in just two months on the Supreme People’s Procuracy project. This success affirmed CONINCO’s professional project coordination capacity and deep understanding of domestic technical standards, combined with TJAD’s macro-scale design thinking, bringing absolute satisfaction to the Project owner.

On this occasion, General Director Nguyen Dang Quang also congratulated Tongji’s planning institute on being approved for the Hanoi Capital General Planning (100-year vision) in January 2026, marking another important step in participating in the redevelopment of Vietnam’s urban space.

Proactively Entering the “High-Speed Railway Era”

One of the key contents of the signing ceremony was the orientation for cooperation in transportation infrastructure, especially high-speed railways and urban railways. Vietnam’s policy to develop a modern transportation network in the 2025–2026 period opens a strategic space in which CONINCO has been proactively and thoroughly preparing all resources to lead the way. Throughout 2025, CONINCO organized international specialized seminars and directly visited railway systems and laboratories in Japan and China. To optimize international intellectual resources and strengthen the competitiveness of the joint venture, CONINCO hopes TJAD will support R&D and build specialized high-speed railway training programs for the company’s engineering team.

Vice Chairman of TJAD Zeng Qun affirmed he would report to the Group’s leadership to soon connect CONINCO with the leading railway research institute (under Tongji University) to implement this program. At the same time, he respectfully invited CONINCO’s leadership to visit Shanghai as soon as possible to see the Shanghai Tower super-project and the Group’s headquarters.

In the presence of leaders from both sides, the signing of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between CONINCO and TJAD took place successfully. The signing ceremony is not only a launching pad for both sides to delve deeper into the global value chain but also continues to affirm CONINCO’s sustainable development philosophy: always proactively integrating, promoting internal strength, creating real value, and confidently standing shoulder to shoulder with international partners to venture into the open sea.
