On May 6, 2023, Hai Phong City People's Committee held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for Convention Center - City Performance and the synchronous technical infrastructure system in the North Cam River urban area project. The project has a total investment of more than VND 2,336 billion from the city's budget. This is an important event to celebrate the 68th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2023), the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2023) and major holidays in May.
